#35, the cables are just punched down on that panel. Even if you just pulled them off they still wouldn't have a head on them, just bare cable.

#44 is normal - the grey goop is called thermal grease and is present between every CPU and heatsink I've ever looked at. This is what it looks like after removing the heatsink.
