Don't get me wrong, the humanitarian aspect is awesome, but that's a light dusting of snow and they're in what appears to be a state of emergency LOL, what a joke! Hate to see how they would handle a real snowstorm!

@JT... I SOMEWHAT AGREE, We just endured -37 and 10 inches, but I must agree, these guys live in a tropic zone and totally un-prepared for what had hit them, we're used to it and they aren't. It's awesome to see brothers in arms taking care of one another in a desperate situation. SALUTE! :12:

@joffenbaker, thanks for your understanding but it's not just a matter of being "used to it." People in Atlanta suffer when it snows because they don't buy snowchains and plows, and they can't even buy heavy winter coats because Walmart doesn't waste space for something that rarely sells in the Southern US.

People in the north die when the temperature rises because who needs air conditioners? People in the Mid-Atlantic US die during earthquakes because they don't build earthquake-ready buildings. People in Texas die during prolonged rains because we don't build drainage systems to carry the water away. :13: (In fact, we build things to keep the water around when it does rain!)
