Tesla was not rich, he died penniless and alone after Westinghouse robbed him of his patents. He was an entertainer, and we'd probably be living a different life if Thomas Edison hadn't created the electric chair to make people afraid of Tesla's electricity proposals. Edison was intimidated by Tesla and did everything he could to insure Tesla was considered a failure and a joke.
