The soldier chose his job, in this case a killer for a super power army. Let him sit in the same seat as everyone else.

Says the person with freedom of speech. How did you get that? Oh yeah, sacrifices of others.

A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. --John Stuart Mill
Congrats morrell2 - you're kept.

Wow why so much hate for soldiers? They are doing the job that no one else wants to do so we can live in a peacful society. @MathisHard and @morrel2 maybe you should be more grateful for he people that protect your rights to free speech and your rights to live. Jack wagons.

morrel2,
He or She may have chose his or her job as a soldier, but how does that make them a killer for a super power army? I know more soldiers who have saved and helped people, and have never killed anyone.
MathIsHard,
your right not every soldier is a hero, but they are twice the man/woman youll ever be.

Btw, whenever there's a catastrophe (like last month's deadly hurricane in Philippines) the first one there are these "killers" to distribute vital supplies to the afflicted. The morrel's of the world would rather not notice the military's responsible side.

Any large group of humans is going to include some sinners and some saints. We shouldn't demonize everyone in the military; we shouldn't canonize everyone in the military.
With combat pay, soldiers make much more money than they could on the domestic job market. This is particularly true considering most have little education and few skills prior to joining the military. It's because the job is dangerous that they're paid a good wage--like offshore oil field workers. If you're young and not cut out for college/law school/med school, it's a good option to make good money while possibly developing some marketable job skills.
Joining the military is not an inherently benevolent act. All humans act out of self-interest.
