Camel spiders not only look scary. They move fast and eat a lot. A camel spider will eat and eat until its body is swollen with food and it can hardly move.

They the Red romans here in SA... they actually chase you.... well your shadow... and make this weird hissing noise...
Friend is terrified of spiders now... due to them chasing him while walking barefoot to school from the farm... He screams like a girl when he see's a spider :59: ...

My husband was chased by a huge one when he deployed to Iraq in 2007.. He said they had to shoot it and the whole thing (including the legs) was about as big as hit boot.

Not only no, but hell no! I ran in to about a 3" long one of these lovely creatures while building in the wilds of southwest Texas (the Big Bend National Park area) in the Chihuahuan Desert. I thought it was a scorpion at first but it was out in the day AND it moved really really FAST! Totally creeped me out!
