Then: Nick Castle played Michael Myers as “The Shape.”
Now: Castle switched to a writing/directing career, writing the 2007 movie “August Rush” and co-writing “Escape from New York.”
Then: Jamie Lee Curtis played high school student and main character, Laurie Strode.
Now: Curtis not only became a huge name in Hollywood, the actress also established a notable writing career.
Then: Donald Pleasence played Michael Myers’s psychiatrist, Dr. Sam Loomis.
Now: Pleasence passed away in 1995 after earning more than 200 film credits, writing a children’s book, and receiving four Tony Awards nominations.
Then: Nancy Kyes played babysitter Annie Brackett.
Now: Kyes left acting in 1992 and is now a sculptress in Los Angeles.
Then: P.J. Soles played high school student, Lynda van der Klok.
Now: Soles is still active in television and film.
Then: Child actress Kyle Richards played a timid Lindsey Wallace, who Annie Brackett babysat.
Now: Richards continued acting, and is known for her recurring role on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
Then: Charles Cyphers played Sheriff Leigh Brackett, the father of babysitter Annie Brackett.
Now: Cyphers still acts today, having appeared in television shows “ER” and “Seinfeld,” along with another John Carpenter movie “The Fog,” which also featured his “Halloween” costar Jamie Lee Curtis.
Then: Tony Moran played Michael Myers without the mask.
Now: Moran went under the radar for awhile, eventually coming out of hiding to appear at “Halloween” conventions and to produce his own 2011 horror flick “Beg.”
Then: Brian Andrews played Tommy Doyle, the curious eight-year-old who Laurie was babysitting.
Now: Andrews still acts, appearing in “Three O’Clock High” and “The Bronx Zoo.” Here he is below recently with a fan.
Then: Nancy Stephens played Marion Chambers, a nurse and colleague of Dr. Sam Loomis.
Now: Stephens returned for “Halloween II” and “Halloween H20: 20 Years Later,” and had brief appearances in television shows “All in the Family” and “Cheers.”
Then: Sandy Johnson played Michael’s sister, Judith Margaret Myers.
Now: Johnson hasn’t acted in years with her last credit being a ballroom dancer in ’95′s “Dracula: Dead and Loving It.”
Then: David Kyle Foster played Judith’s boyfriend.
Now: Foster retired from acting, entered a seminary, and founded a non-profit Christian ministry “Mastering Life Ministries.”
Then: Arthur Malet played the graveyard keeper.
Now: Malet had acting parts in “Bewitched,” and “Adventures In Paradise.” He also played Tootles in the live-action version of “Hook.” Malet passed away in May of this year.
