New Mexico is cold in the winter, the desert in general is cold at night. It snows. I lived in ABQ where Breaking Bad was made.

#1 at least is bullshit. The desert isn't always hot. In fact, it can get extremely cold. Better than that, do you think they'd force the cast to wear jackets while filming in the desert for no fucking reason?
