#34 make sense to me, the concrete pad off to the side is for an RV (motorhome) to park on. Because of the weight it needs a flat solid surface.

#11 is legit. Its a "stile". People can cross over it but cows and sheep can't. In this case, it keeps them out of the yard.

Not everything that you don't understand is a fail.
#21 is a temporary support for an ancient building
#22 seems to be a firefighter access door. Yes, they build doors that high up so that firefighters can get in (by using a ladder, of course)
#25 is obviously an access door with a rail for a lift thingie
#39 looks like an ancient staircase that has been built over numerous times.
#40 could have been in Berlin, where they had to temporarily move long-distance-heating ducts above ground due to a major construction site.
The rest ... yes, they're funny :)
