They spent too much R&D to try and come up with a "game changer" when all they did was throw usability out the window. Some of their designs were fascinating but completely useless.

Nokia was the best for real ! Now it sold to Microsoft ! Stupid ! How many of phone makers that can produce such a high class phones like Vertu and Mobiablo ! Microsoft what a joke !

in 1998 the Nokia 61xx series was my first cell phone.
I had the 6120, 6160, & 6162

along with 23 other cell phones before 2001. working at Circuit City we literally could buy new phones for $0.01 with our discount... no wonder they went under haha

Nokia evolution and.....extinction.

Their CEO will take over at Microsoft. Hope you like something like IOS, Android Chrome OS or Linux cause that's what you'll use in a few years on your computer

Maybe (and only maybe...) this is not completely a bad idea... i would love to see a Nokia durability and manufacture and Microsoft software development phone... once again, maybe!
