MXPX technically never really changed their name, its an abbreviation. when Magnified Plaid started they would sometimes write M.P. but they would use little x's instead of periods. and it sorta morphed into MxPx

metalcore band Norma Jean recorded 3 albums as Luti-Kriss. They changed their name after Ludacris gained popularity
