Have you ever heard about Australian Dingo Fence?
I haven't.
But it is one of longest fences in the world.
And the longest dog fence anywhere.
It is almost 3500 miles (5614 km) long.
And it was built to keep wild dogs away from humans.
Are those dogs really so dangerous, that people had to built those fences?
Actually, there was another famous fence in Australia - Rabbit-proof fence.
You can read about it in Wikipedia.

The fence was built to keep dingoes away from the major sheep grazing areas of Australia, they're not a threat to people, but will go through a flock of sheep in no time.

yes, i have heard of these fences. there is an occupation as fence repairer. These people have to work 5 days a week in the wild. At night they encamp and sleep by the fire. Austrilia is a beautiful country but it has very serious problems to keep the wild animals away.
