What a waste. Couldn't they have just run around with misspelled signs like everybody else?

The scene takes place in France, and it's not a "waste" litteraly.
The law says something like that : " You have not the right to produce more than what we told you to produce because we can't pay the difference of price between your cheaper eggs and the other, so you have to throw them away".

So in France, farmers have the habit of throw them in front of government building :D

This is what you get when you let GOVERNMENTS try to control MARKETS.

Then again, these farmers have gotten EXACTLY (eggsactly?) what they asked for: they protested and protested against low prices. So the government established price supports and quotas.

They want a system with safety nets but no costs. With all the gains but no risks.
I'm sorry that basic Capitalism is too complicated for you.

Would think it would be more of a point to toss them AT the government officials who make the goofy laws.
