One guy got bitten by a Brown Recluse spider. Here is his story.
Spider leg found in my bed after being bit
1
Apparently, most brown recluse bite when they are about to be squished. This happens often with a person rolling over in bed, which is exactly what I did.

Day 1
3
Woke up to a stinging, hot pain behind my leg. Went back to sleep. Upon making my bed I discovered a spider leg right where the sharp pain in my leg would have occured. Went on the hunt for a 7-legged spider--found a 7-legged brown recluse! Holy shit! Time to RICE.
Day 1 still
4
A couple hours after pic 1 was taken. Area is feeling lumpish. Whole body is starting to itch. Muscles around bite are achy. I can literally feel the venom/toxin spreading.
Called doc
5
Told me to continue with the RiCE (rest, ice, compression, elevation) and if anything changes to go in to ER. The ER doc took this pic for me. He said there was nothing to be done at this point. Prescribed me some antibiotics and sent me home.
Day 2
6
Woke up this morning and the pain is at a level 7. Go to my doctor and he gives me hydrocodone and sends me home.
Hydrocodone doesn't do shit!
7
Yeah, why the hell did I put an adhesive bandage on an obviously growing blister? Hydrocodone made me do it.
Day 5. Back to doctor. Blisters broke
8
Doc sends me to a wound specialist downstairs. He 's gonna debride this mutha.
Just another pic of the nasty blisters
9
Notice the bruising? Doc says that's all dead tissue.
Post debridment
10
Looking good! No necrosis yet. Whew!
Day 6
11
First day for home wound management. Fingers crossed no secondary infection presents itself. Ok, I'll just stick to washing my hands... A little hope never hurt, tho.
Day 7
12
I think I'm turning into a zombie. Still hurts. Extremely swollen, I'm on crutches and even had to use a scooter-cart when I went shopping today. That was kinda fun.
