Bats don't live in 'houses' like this. They are not birds.
"Bat houses" almost invariably become wasp nests because bats simply won't live for any extended time in a box with only one exit, nor, particularly warm/safe for hibernation in winter.

The reason they live where they do is because other things CAN'T get them there.
They're not going to put themselves to sleep for months in a box that pretty much says "food in here" to a predator.

I wish we had bats around where I live so they can eat all the damn mosquitoes!!! I think they can eat around 10,000 a night....
