College Kid and College
Aged
Kid are two very different things. If you are exempt from doing something, then you probably won't mind very much.
After that logical fallacy, the rest of these 'facts' are pretty suspect (some are even just opinion). At least IMHO :48:

#21 is very misleading.
The British only accounted for 40% of the invasion force. There were 83,115 in the 2nd Army, but only 61,715 of them were British - 21,400 were from Canada (Canada has not been part of the UK since 1867, do not consider themselves British, and the monarch and governor general are only titular positions with no power). The 73,000 US contingent was the largest of any country.
North Americans accounted for 94,400, few of them British subjects.
The US had the highest casualties. Of 8443 casualties, the US accounted for 56%, Canada - 14%, the British only 30%.
Like it or not, if the Americans weren't there, Britain would still be licking its wounds from Dunkirk. The US had the largest contingent of military in Europe on the western front after Normandy (the Russians on the east). And the US was not even on the European continent nor invaded by the Axis.
Interesting bookends for the British in WWII:
Dunkirk and Operation Market Garden
