The 30 ft (9 m) high wall of ice was pushed out of a lake by a strong wind. It crashed into properties near the shoreline of Dauphin Lake in Canada, destroyed 12 homes and damaged 15.

After some research I have discovered this post is a mash of 2 separate incidents. The worst damaged houses were on Dauphin Lake in Canada as described, but the video and associated pics were from Izatys Resort Mille Lacs Lake, Minnesota USA. some 350 miles away.

Horrible for the home owners to stand and watch there houses slowly crushed.......Hope any damage was quickly fixed.
