You say identical, but there is a huge gulf in class between them...

What happens is a movie studio will get pitched an idea. They reject it and the writers pitch is elsewhere. Meanwhile the first studio then gives the synopsis to in-house writers and tells them to write a script. They do. And the original script gets sold elsewhere.

This is why some are much better scripts but they get made simultaneously.

wyatt earp and tombstone are about the same things, but a different timeline. if you wanted to watch both movies, watch wyatt earp first. it lets you have the story of wyatt earp up until he gets to tombstone, then watch tombstone for a more detailed stay of wyatt. what can i say, i like history and i like stories about the wild west.

No strings attached and friends with benefits... At first I though It was the same movie with two different posters, you know... for marketing purpose or something.

At the end I watched both movies and it's the exact same crap.
