That child's mother help influenced her as well. If he's a good dad, then the child should be around more often to feel comfortable. Kids are good judgement of characters and have unconditional love for those who have unconditional love for them.

Oh course he looks scary...but so does that Aunt with the hair on her chain that looks like a man and always trying to kiss on you. She a scary looking sweetheart that you learn to love beyond the physical features.
