Goliath birdeater is the largest spider in the world. It gets its name from reports of explorers from the Victorian era, who witnessed one eating a hummingbird.

just a regular tarantula, nothing special.
In fact, that is one of the friendliest species, there are much more aggressive tarantulas, which tend to be much smaller

These are actually nice pets :) I have two tarantulas myself. They're silent and super easy and cheap to take care of. Interesting too.

This particular one is pretty aggressive

It's huge and altough I'm definetly repelled by spiders in general, I would find this one quite fascinating as a pet.
