Sure, swastika is a buddhist symbol. Just like "gay" means happy - ie, you have to be utterly ignorant of context and the last 100 years to not realize that perhaps it has a different meaning today than traditionally.

I didn't really see anything wrong with combat either. To be honest, it's not that big a fail, doesn't require the Jean-Luc Picard meme and nowhere in that Facebook post does it specify the context of what he was writing. He may not have been talking about Mortal Kombat, he could have been referencing something else entirely.
