I had 34" inches covering my car which I dug out today. Luckily we only lost power for a short while. Overall, it really isn't that big of a deal. It snows in many places in the world.

We had 25", but some of the drifts against the house were about 5 feet high. Amazingly, we never lost power, and the streets were all drivable by Saturday afternoon. During the Blizzard of '78, we lost power for six days and didn't see a plow for about three.

I know this is serious and causes a lot of damage and everything, but all I can think about is how could those people leave that poor dog outside (1st photo)??

When we get 4 inches of snow, it's a small miracle.
