One Chinese guy was saving money in very small denomination Yuan bills. It took 3 days for the three bank clerks to sort out $20,000 when he brought the money to the bank to deposit them.

No USD to YUAN exchange rate is 1 : 6.22 ; $20,000 USD is Y124,400, and if he used small bills (1, 2...etc), it will be a lot of small bills.
