Mangalitsa is a name for three breeds of pig grown especially in Hungary and the Balkans known also as a curly-hair hog.

Those pigs are well known here for their extraordinarie taste... But I can bet you'll never taste it... :(

And btw they are from Serbia (former Yugoslavia) and not from Hungary... But I guess Hungary get some from us and they probably breed them too...

Hungary is one of the greatest breeders with more than 60000 mangalica with its own breed, but there are serbian origins of the current breed from the past indeed.
