No one knows better than a smoker how damaging it is. Smokers deal with it everyday.

If you don't smoke and can't help but "advise" a smoker to quit then you are simply an asshole. If you did smoke but have since quit and can't wait to tell someone else they need to quit then all you're doing is bragging that you quit which makes you an even bigger asshole than the "helpful" non-smoker.

You can't tell a smoker anything about smoking that he or she doesn't already know so quit trying. Otherwise, you're just an asshole.
