I have to admit using computer fans to dry my work boots before, but I never went to those sort of lengths to do it.
I suspect the idea is, that once you sort the fan mounts out, you then add whatever extension fits the footwear that needs drying.
Nice idea, just perhaps over-complicating the design a touch.
