62-year-old Columbian former drug addict Miguel Restrepo and his wife Maria Garcia have built their home inside a sewer 22 years ago. And they are happy they have it.

A little tight, but nice - no rent to pay, not annoying neighbors, and it looks sealed off and not an actual sewer, just a hole in the ground, so there isn't bad smell or rats crawling around

(not that I would know, for all I know sewers might be the nicest places on Earth and what we know of them is a myth to keep us stupid people out)
