If you look at the history of entertainment (plays, operas, movies, etc...) their is a formula for making these movies. You can break them down into specific character types... Protagonist, Antagonist, foil, shadow, foil, mentor, confidant, Innorato/Innorata, Dottoro, Capitano etc... if you look at Luke and the Capt. both are Protaganist, Tony Stark and Hon Solo are both Capitanos and I won't analyze more w/ characters but even the flow of a movie like a play can be analyzed with Attack crisis climax etc... and each of these events taking place at a certain time within a movie. Now are these set in stone... no but almost all movies, plays etc... follow these rules...
