I can't imagine my life without Internet.
It seems like years have passed since the time there was no World Wide Web.
But do you remember how it all began?
Let's refresh our memories.
It was the first picture ever uploaded on the Net.
Back in 1992 Silvano de Gennaro from the CERN uploaded this photo on info.cern.ch.
And here is the first banner ad ever.
HotWired created this ad format to make some money in 1994.
On October 25, 1994 AT&T was the first to display this 468 x 60 banner on HotWired website
This is the first video on YouTube, uploaded at 8:27PM on Saturday April 23rd, 2005.
The video was shot by Yakov Lapitsky at the San Diego Zoo.
The very first item sold on eBay was a broken laser pointer for $14.83.
