There are links between dogs chasing their tails and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in Humans. Often seen in tenacious dogs like terriers, it's also common in herding dogs - Dogs bred for the chase. With some dogs the disorder can rule them. I've personally seen dogs which won't stop chasing their tails even when screamed and shouted at, one in particular which chased at the slightest hint of boredom - He died when he hit his head on a brick wall (not for the first time), fracturing his skull.

i've heard that RAW onions are bad for dogs, too.

One of my many roommates in college had a dog that ate half a German chocolate pie AND about a third of a pan of brownies...and lived.
Thing is...afterwards, she shaked constantly like she was over-caffeinated and nervous.
