I'm not convinced #12 was a remake.. The Wiz was was Michael Jackson's interpretation.

And wasnt Buffy a TV series not a movie remake?

Some remakes are a little better and some are a bit of a flop.
They had to remake King Kong as the first Kong died somewhere in 1962 of old age and . . .
