The Alcatraz Hotel in Kaiserslautern, Germany, was opened in a former prison.
If you need some jailhouse feeling during your stay in hotel, you can live in a cell room with bars on the windows.
The bathrooms are not separate from the rest of the rooms. Exactly as in a real jail cell.
But you can walk in and out the hotel whenever you like.
So you will never get the real jailhouse feeling.
