Probably my first negative comment on AC :( - We see enough bloodshed, war and death in the media please can we leave it out of AC.

This starts the weekend off on a negative note otherwise.

Lots of unspoken words through those pictures, nice job to all journalists who also risk their lives to show the world some of the crude images here

So many protests, so much violence, that the people are almost forgotten in it all, and why they protested to start with.

One pic stopped me though; the bridge car smash, and the rescue workers using the lift to support the car and free the woman occupant. Dedicated people. You always hope you'll never need them, but they're always there.

After seeing most of the pictures, dare to tell me that everything is just fine with this world we live in...

I spent a LONG time looking at some of these pics ... very thought provoking.

Humanity is insanity .... I don't think it will ever end ... peacefully anyway.

And then there are a few glimmers of hope mixed in .... maybe, just maybe ...

Some pretty damning pictures there. It's easy to forget that some people are putting up with shit times from their respective governments and regimes. Good luck with your struggle if that is you. However, I've never felt the need to go and smash up a city/town just for the hell of it, destroying peoples livelihood and businesses and generally being a nuisance to society. Especially when the society you are in is a fucking easy-life one like in the UK!!

All the violence in the world is maddening. They need something else to do. I think all we need do is provide them with flat screen TV's, a cable subscription, XBox's, a nice big sofa and some air-conditioning and they'll become couch potatoes like everyone in the U.S.
