I wonder if it works. But it's an interesting way to make your old ink cartridge to print some extra pages.

Um, as I am an IT Specialist I know the cartridge does send a signal to the printer indicating it empty. 'Bout like when the milk carton has an 8th inch of milk. You can reset the cartridge until it triggers the sensor again (a few pages tops) Just like your willing to use that 8th inch for at least a little bit of cereal.
