That's crazy. My father lives only about a mile out of town in between two hills. Once a year usually the house, roads, cars are consumed by caterpillars. We have to kill thousands just driving back and forth... but it makes the scenery beautiful when all of them become butterflies.

This would happen at the house I grew up in. One week out of the year usually we'd spend forever clearing ladybugs out of the house. Caught over four hundred one day before I gave up.

Well... at least they did not have any aphids, as I bet they were
all
eaten.

In Toronto they brought in an Asian Ladybugs to kill off the aphids back around 2000.
There wings were a pale washed out Clr.. not as pretty as this!

Cool! I live in Colorado but I've never seen this many ladybugs in one place at one time
That's the one infestation that I wouldn't really mind : ) They're cute lil bugs
