Ha? What? Pictures were taken by the canon but through the lens of the old camera, meaning really the canon took the photos. Those photos would not be of that quality if taken with that camera alone 13

I would've agreed with you, however, if you look at the top-view camera picture in Pic No.2 you will clearly notice that the Canon lens is removed, so the old Piccolette Contessa-Nettel camera is actually being used as a lens in the Canon, which means that the pictures are taken through the old camera lens.
