I know #4 is false so I really don't believe any of the others now either.

I knew all of these. Except the Twinky one, but I've never heard that myth. Maybe because I'm not an american.

6 is false. The Sun is a spectral type of G2 main-sequence star, which means it's peak radiation is yellow. It would look yellow from a few light years away.

9 is also false, and you can prove it yourself, Take a round tub, drill a hole in the center of the bottom, place it on a stand where you can plug the hole from the bottom, fill it with water, let it sit for an hour or so, then remove the stopper. If you're in the northern hemisphere, the water will start spinning counter-clockwise. You can easily get the water to spin the other way by stirring it clockwise, but it's natural tendency is to spin in the same direction that it is already spinning, i.e., in the same direction as the rotation of the earth as viewed from above the pole. It's simply a manifestation of the law of conservation of angular momentum.

Toilets are generally made to work with rather than against this natural tendency.

I dont agree about the brain - for example if you have a CPU, that is used only 10% and you damage just a little bit of it, it would still suffer damage, no matter how much are you using. The brain is complicated system and even if you dont use its full potential, that doesnt mean you can damage it and get away with it just because you dont use it fully.
