Look at some of these before and after photos. Don't you think that it's a little weird that the architecture in front of the painting changes as well? The comparison for #2 now has a fountain where a street used to be and #4's dark pavement with sidewalk changed to light pavement with no sidewalk.

Saw this post about four years ago, with more pictures and explanation. it seems legitimate,.. not so hard to believe, look at those sidewalk art chalk illussions, very cool

What I see i the first pic is about 30-40 feet of empty lot before the building that is under construction. So a fountain and the brick pavers could have been apart of the new construction that was designed to compliment the new mural.
