If you ever thought that the awards and sold records had any connection with the quality of the music, then baby you must be either fucking naive or stupid or both.

For most of them the reason is simple. Small slice of a very very big pie is bigger then a big slice of a small pie. Lets try a fairer comparison, compare by %age number sold in any given year. Once Kei$ha and Rihanna etc are competing with the Beetles, Queen, and Jimi Hendrix et al using that measurement then we'll call it fair.

I bet that if Led Zeppelin had had the same media coverage back in the 70's, it would have been a whole different history...
