Those were some wild dudes. Age wise, I'd guess somewhere between 60 and 80. When I was a kid one of them lived a couple blocks over. For us it was definitely a no-go zone.

This photoset has been posted many times in various locations, but it bears repeating. These are the kind of candid photos that really provide a glimpse into America in the 60's. The Hell's Angels were just a small part of a monumental movement in America. I never get tired of pics like these.

#27 MC's are divided into two groups - the 99 percenters, the ones who are generally law abiding riders and the one percenters, the outlaws like the Hells Angles. #27 is two of the 99 percenters taking pics. Compared to the 1 percenters they look "dorky",i.e., clean shaven, neatly dressed in new clothes, standard peaked caps instead of bandanas. There is no love lost between the two groups.
