If I just drink one less double when I go out, I can buy a new keyboard.

Not really... I have plenty of booze at home.

I was listening to Leo LaPorte one day and he says he washes his keyboards in the dishwasher. Once thoroughly air dried, plugs it back in.

Dishwasher trick works perfectly. Just as long as it's one of the basic keyboards like this one.

cleaning keyboard is pretty easy for me. just open all the button and unscrew, brush it with soap water. flush with water hose, finally dry it with a fan in one hour. and ready to use again :)

as on owner of a mac keyboard its way more noticeable since the casing is clear and the keys are white. gets dirty easier but looks way sleeker than a dumpy dell keyboard

i'm afraid i can't remember to place those keypad keys ..

I agree with mashie5, my mom's a mac lady and we always had the white keyboards, but even if you wipe them down the clear casing lets you see how gross is really is under your keys... I used to full clean my keyboard like this annually, sometimes twice a year. even just doing that majorly extends it's life and keeps it much cleaner.
