Man there are so many factors that would imply on the whole meaning of The end of the World. There will be no electricity, foods, water, heat, cold, light or even oxygen. So the claim of this house is a false statement. 05

Nuclear war ?

I prefer to die out fighting in the war, rather than hiding like a rat.

miscellaneous, I suspect you're trolling just a bit. The area which is now under the house was the control room and living quarters, and the large shaft, minus the spiral staircase, of course, held the missile.

Back in the 70s, there were some abandoned Titan missile silos near my house, and someone had moved the cover on one of them just enough to get through. Then you had to climb about 100' down a ladder. The tunnels at the bottom led to the control room and living quarters in one direction, and the missile tube was in the other. It was probably about 300' deep. The place had already been stripped of anything of value, but it was still pretty cool.

OldOllie, I stand corrected, it's an old Atlas-f missile silo that stood vacant and full of water for thirty years before renovation.
