It looks like it was flying - otherwise the damage would be everywhere, not just on the front-facing parts of the plane. Yikes.

it was flying. duh. you can't see hail damage on the front of the plane? does hail fall sideways and at 600 mph? just sayin 07

is saw a photo series some time ago and those planes looked much worse. it was about planes from ww2 that got hit by a flak and got back to england... im not shure if it was on acidcow...
