Pardon me for being an idiot but, what's the fucking point?
If you hit a wall at 100 trillion kilometers per hour or whatever speed that shuttle can reach, it's pretty fucking obvious what's going to happen to it. It's designed to go into space which is a huge place. Theres a pretty small possibility that it will crash into something.
You'd think scientists are smarter than that.

I'm pretty sure that isn't the space shuttle, but i does look like a F-4 Phantom fighter jet. They are more than likely testing some type of new concrete material for buildings and trying to see if it will hold up to a plane strike.

I'm sure when it's scientists involved they're testing a whole bunch of things, both obvious and not. Hahah i like how it's the only three pictures you need. Before, during, after.

they're actually testing the wall. when they built the nuclear power plant near San Diego California they wanted to make sure the cooling towers (which look like big boobs, heh) could survive a plane being flown into them (they were built way before 9/11). for more info look up san onofre

Yep, it's an F4.
I think the basic premis of the whole experiment is, that given the chance to fly into a huge concrete lump, just don't!
It'll all end in tears......

Wow. Just wow. Which idiot can't tell the difference between a Space Shuttle and a Fighter Jet (F4 Phantom in this case)?
