Just use the backside of your thumb. If the door is heavy use both thumbs. Alternately, use your pinky and hook the handle at the bottom in a sort of opening/pulling down motion.

It is quite ironic how short shighted people are. You apparently go lenghts not to touch the doorhandle out of the toilet, but what about EVERY OTHER DOORHANDLE IN THE BUILDING. Is there som magically shield that does sanitize those who doesn't wash when they walk out of the toilet so only that doorhandle is contaminated?

Wash your hands after you used the toilet and also before handling food. Then your as safe as you can be. Because your cellphone, keyboard, car steering wheel etc is full of bacteria from what you've handled so no matter how well you manage to open the toilet door you'll touch something not clean.

moljik - That's the thing... Nobody handles my cell phone, laptop, or drives my car. Nobody touches anything I eat that isn't cooked or washed. When in doubt, I carry alcohol wipes. I use them to clean my sunglasses anyway.
