The problem with these.... very few show the passage of time, and those that do are nice. Quite a lot of them show a pic in a a pic. That could have been taken a short while ago. The only value of those is if you know the people in the pic, and how long ago it was taken. I like the side by side before and after. Then you can see how much older someone is and see the passage of time much better. Prime example the last two pictures, no real sense of time in those, is there?. The third pic, that's cool, you get the passage of time because you can see how those trees have really grown.

The paradox of love is that to have it is to want to preserve it because it's perfect in the moment but that preservation is impossible because the perfection is only ever an instant passed through. Love like travel is a series of moments that we immediately leave behind. Still we try to hold on and embalm against all evidence and common sense proclaiming our promises and plans.
