I don't understand why people abuse animals. It actually makes me mad. I could never do that to my dog.

Impressive photos. I feel sorry for the poor little animals out there in such bad conditions, but I'm happy for at least this cats and dogs were rescued and are healthy and maybe happy now

Good job, Sarah Mclachlan! Cute little buggers. I rescued a dog who was about to be gassed in Tennessee. I cant believe people could do that.... pisses me off

It is sad but guys don't always assume it is because of abuse. Sometimes animals get out and get lost and end up like this from living uncared for.
Whatever the reason I am glad these little guys ended up with such happy forever homes

I don't get all mushy over a few animal pictures, but like a lot of you here, I find animal abuse as illogical as abuse of your own kind.
We get these bleeding heart little promos for animal rescue charities here, and I think it would work much better if they just showed them executing, or better still, abusing the abusers to get people on side.
If you can't treat an animal right, don't have one. Simple.

We rescued our dog a couple of years ago, and I look at him, and all of these animals, and wonder how anyone could ever hurt them. ALWAYS rescue, it's the most rewarding thing when you know how appreciative they are for taking them out of the situation they were in.

Animals are fantastic! I just can't imagine how some humans can ill treat them that way, really breaks my heart. Kudos to those people who adopted those, that's great!

I love these kind of posts. They reassure me that not
all
humans are bad.
I myself have a beautiful Rottweiler named Gretchen that I rescued when she was about 1 year old. She was heavily abused and probably wasn't going to make it to see 3. She is now 16 (Amazingly) and she still gets around fine.
Cheers to anyone who helps an animal in need. They would gladly do it for you if they could, after all.
