This story happened in Iowa in the winter, half a year ago. It wasn't published on our site, so we need to correct this situation, because the story is worth it.
Photos were taken in December 12, 2010. On this day in Iowa was a strong snowstorm, the wind has opened a side door and a lot of snow piled up into the house. The hosts at that time left for a few days in Chicago. That's what they saw when they returned.

That REALLY sucks. And can you imagine their electric bill? You know they left the heater on, and you know that thing ran the ENTIRE time they were gone.

To be honest, if they acted fast the damage wouldn't be as bad as you'd think.
Its a moveable / cleanable mess and its also not flood water that's dirty, snows pretty clean and should dry out cleanly.

I'd rather that than 2ft of sh*tty sewer water in my house. :)
