Hundreds of rhinos are being killed in Africa each year. This is how people are trying to save the animals. Poachers don't kill rhinos that have no horns.

Rhino's do not have any defense against high powered rifles. Removing the Rhino's horn does save their lives. Poachers kill them for the horns to make them into magic potions. No horn, no interest, a life saved.

The intention may be good, but it leaves them defenseless. The only way to save their lives, is to eliminate the desire for their horns and that's never going to happen as long as the idiot Chinese think it will increase their virility. The Chinese have no conscience at all and absolutely no respect for life.

Big problem over here. Poachers go through heavy barricaded fences on game reserves to get the horns. A Rhino with horns is a dead Rhino. Cutting the horn does not effect the Rhino in any way whatsoever.

I think its a good idea, its easier too kill them first and get the horn after...so no horn no kill, it's like what they do with sharks...

I've heard that they have been killed just for the stump that is left. The powder is not for virility but for everything from a cold to cancer. It's so fuckin' stupid.
