Knut was probably the most famous polar bear in the history of the mankind. Knut died on Saturday at the Berlin Zoo in front of dozens of people. The cause of death is still unknown but the experts believe that he had some kind of brain damage caused by bacteria or poison. Here are the photos illustrating the life of Knut. i think they say it was a brain stroke... they also say, he were too much stressed because the zoo wanted him for breeding... they put him together with three other polar bear females and they don't really liked him. some say he just died on broken heart 11

He's dead, get over it, polar bears are not endangered species, get another one, just like cows, there's lots of them. Polar Bears are not endangered species. I know, i live in the arctic.

It's been proven that animals, when caged, start developing mental issues, imagine being in prison your whole life, living in a concrete enclosure, all of your life, perhaps he is truly free now. Just because he was cute in a pen, doesnt' mean he wanted to be there.

R.I.P Knut 11 you were such an adorable little buddy and died too young.
Cause of death was really a brain damage according to the press and maybe also the problems he had with his fellow bears weren't good for him.

I followed his story from the beginning. I truly cannot even look at this post. 11 R.I.P Knut.
I also heard today that his caretaker died recently too. Maybe the little one missed him too much. Knut truly was a bundle of joy. 11
