I find it hard enough to try and make any form of top from two pieces of cloth and a pattern to follow, whereas Bear can make a tank top from a dead seal with no problem at all. You win Mr Grylls.

I know the advice Bear Gryls offers up can genuinely save your life....but, I have seen too many vids and posts on other sites proving how fake he is.

his programme is soooooo fake! He always find everything he needs in few minutes! Like one time he needed to build a weapon for catching lobsters or something and went to a beach and found a string, and all the materials on a beach hahaha coincidence, right? Then he went to the sea and guess what - he found a huge lobster in front of him hahaah like it wasn't put there by the crew... whoever believes in that bollocks is an idiot I tell ya

He made it easier for the polar bears to find him, gave them a bit of flavoring.

Of course they are going to supplies the shit he needs to show you how it is done, it is only an hour long show. Can you imagin how freaking boring it would be if he was like "Now I'm going to show you how to catch a cheeta with just a twig and a piece of string. There is a twig, now lets go on the beach to find some string." ::An hour passes:: "Well no string so far, tune in next week where hopefully I'll find some."

The stuff he is showing you is in a optimized situation so that he can show you how to do it the best possible way, in a true survival situation you would need to improvise from what you have learnt.

Ok, but that one time he said something like "let's see what was thrown on the beach by the sea"... and of course he found all the equipment he needed. It's like saying "I need an iron board, a TV remote control, a cuffin and tool box, let's see what was thrown to the beach by the sea.... oh! guess what! I just found all of those on the beach"
